God’s faithfulness I see as steadfastness, a characteristic that is truly indescribable. One special way that I have been connecting with Him during this time of social distancing is through nature. I find myself in daily need of a reminder of the awesomeness that He is, of the steadfastness that He has, the order that He has set, and the creator that He is. Nature reverberates His glory with a strong silent call, in a silence so beautiful it’s deafening. God has reminded me of His steadfastness through the constant flow of the Mississippi River, through the sun that rises every day, and most astoundingly through the sunsets where He has painted the canvas of His sky with broad strokes of wispy, bold colors. He is the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. In the context of the cyclical fashion of nature, I am reminded that He is everlasting, existing before creation itself. I am reminded of His sovereignty in how creation follows His order, and as a created being I am to do the same. I am reminded of His omniscience and that only He had the knowledge to create the world and all the biological processes that must exist for humans to live and worship Him. I am reminded that the great God who created the wonders of this universe also created me. He created me to live during this specific time in this specific way for His glory and design, just as he has created each of us for this time. My hope is that we trust in Him to guide us in to finding out why.

This post reminds me that God’s presence can be seen in everything around me. Oftentimes we get so caught up in the hustle and bustle of life that we forget to simply enjoy and “BE”. Thanks to the author for this gentle reminder ❤️

We are glad this spoke to you! God is so grand and I like to think he likes to show off in nature a bit. There’s so much of creation to admire, even a tree we perceive as simple is built of so many complex biological systems. The great pause of COVID-19 has caused me to reflect on nature more and God is using that to remind me of Himself. Thank you for taking the time to read and share your thoughts. 🙏🏾❤️
